Dog Fouling

Unfortunately there are a small number of delinquent people in Tonna who think that our pitches are a toilet for their dog.

In a effort to stop this irresponsible and dangerous behaviour we have contacted Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and they have agreed that their Wardens will regularly visit the club and issue penalty notices to any culprits they encounter.

We have also contacted South Wales Police and asked the local Community Support Officers to include the club on their regular visits to Tonna as they also issue penalty notices for dog fouling.

We would also like to ask our members and supporters to help us by reporting any owners they see who do not clean up after their dog. This is because Neath Port Talbot Council are willing to issue penalty notices based on the statement of a person witnessing an act of dog fouling. Mobile phone or photo evidence could also be used to instigate a penalty being issued.

Please can you share this with everyone in Tonna and hopefully we can put an end to this disgusting behaviour.
