It was with immense sadness that we heard this week that Nigel Roberts, known as Del to everyone, had lost his long and courageous fight against ill-health.
Nigel played for Tonna at junior, youth and senior levels before retiring and being a regular visitor to the Players Bar. He was a friendly, funny and gentle man who will be greatly missed by us all.
Our thoughts are with his wife Clare and son Jack at this difficult time.
